My Intention Was Simple

Hello There VivBounty here to share with you the wonderful bus ride I intended to have and ultimately manifested this past August going home for a week with my family in celebration of my sister's graduation. My intention was simple. I would thoroughly enjoy this bus ride.

Family Schedules Prevented An Airport Pickup

The schedule conflicts for the usual relatives who pick me up at the airport, a 100 kilometre drive from my mother's home necessitated my finding my own ground transportation upon landing. Being the globetrotter that I am, I saw this as an opportunity to reacquaint myself with the public transit in and around the Greater Toronto Area, or the GTA as it's affectionately referred to on the local news. In any large city, one must always be sensible and alert to maximize personal safety and Toronto has certainly grown since I lived there some 20 years ago.

The Shuttle Between Terminals

My First Bus

I Had Been Visualizing Great Travel For Years

For some years now I have been practicing visualization and assorted methods to master the law of attraction. So I was intent on finding the perfect mode of transportation for the most enjoyable trip home. Flights booked, I set about looking for just such a bus. Years ago, in my career as a tour consultant in Toronto, my coworker raved about Red Car Service, an airport transportation service between Toronto and Hamilton. This was no good for me going east.

So GoBus it would be according to my vibration which was matched, not so coincidentally by the universe to manifest my intention of a wonderful bus ride home.
First I had to find the free shuttle to Terminal 1. In my meditation for this trip, I visualized friendly, helpful, beings encountered at every segment of my journey. The Gate agent was the first to happily direct me to the shuttle. In Terminal 1 I found a courtesy desk with a charming agent. I asked where I could buy a ticket for the GO Bus. His amusing answer was that he had no idea as he hadn't used it since High School "like ten years ago". Not quite as long as my 20 years, but as he directed me to the GO bus stop pillar outside he said, "Don't worry Toronto is still a really friendly city and everybody's still nice". So far he was right.

Before I Knew It I Was On The Last Leg Of The Journey

To my joy, and I always seek joy, the young girl waiting for the bus had no idea whether I could pay as I boarded as she had a ticket, but was yet another friendly being on my journey. The bus arrived, I bought my fare as I boarded, and the driver even gave me change. This was unheard of on the city bus we used back in the day. As we approached my stop, the smiling bus driver signalled to me, pointing to a bay where a bus was waiting, saying, "That's your bus over there!". I thanked him, gathered up my luggage, and headed over to the bus to find the door closed and no driver in it. My printed bus schedules showed I had time to call my mum and tell her where I was. She was amazed at what great time I was making after fretting that it would take me all day to reach her, I was ahead of schedule so she had to hustle to get to the bus station in time. It’s amazing how time flies when the universe conspires to bring you what you ask for.

Until next time, know that thoughts are things and what you put out there comes right back to you. Stay tuned for part 2 of my wonderful bus ride.

Prosperous Blessings,
VivBounty
